Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing QC staff Evaluate, set expectations, and hold staff accountable Create SOP's and Work Instructions Order and install new equipment Create labor hour standards for all department tasks Create processes to capture and analyze quality performance data Advise management on appropriate quality performance standards against which to measure company performance Work with Engineering and Procurement to create RFQ's.
Perform Site visits to Facilities and new supplier candidates.
Oversee quality inspections of First Articles Advise on probability of new candidates consistently meeting company quality standards.
Provide training to operations personnel to help improve company quality standards.
Develop and manage a project plan leading to achievement of all appropriate ISO Certifications within a reasonable period of time.
Responsible for Safety Audits (daily, monthly, and as assigned).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
BA Degree from a recognized 4-Year institution.
5 Year minimum experience as a Quality Manager in Automotive Manufacturing (only automotive manufacturing experience will be reviewed) History of promotions within previous jobs References from prior managers will be noted Must be able to commute between our Clarkston and Scottdale facilities.
